Stamps of the issue
The Hradčany issue consists of five different designs and 26 values, fourteen of which also appeared perforated. The designs differ in the size and colour of the inscription and in what surrounds the church in the picture — which makes them distinguishable at a glance.
First design
Small white inscription on a coloured ground, with sun and bush.
Values: 3h, 5h light green, 10h red, 20h blue-green, 25h blue, 30h yellow, 40h.
Second design
Small coloured inscription on a white ground, with sun and bush.
Values: 100h, 200h, 400h.
Third design
Large white inscription on a coloured ground, with sun and a white bush.
Values: 1h, 50h violet.
Fourth design
Large white inscription on a coloured ground, a hatched bush, no sun.
Values: 60h, 80h, 300h, 1000h.
Fifth design
Large white inscription on a coloured ground, without bush or sun; the church is drawn larger.
Values: 5h blue-green, 10h green, 15h, 20h carmine, 25h violet, 50h blue, 75h, 120h, 500h; the 30h violet is a coarser rendering of the fifth design.
